Welfare Group portfolio company Prop.com, the global real estate investment and asset manager, has signed an agreement with leading international single-seater team MP Motorsport to extend their partnership into a second year. The move confirms the Abu Dhabi-headquartered firm as the Dutch racing team’s primary sponsor for the 2026 season.

Prop.com first came on board for the 2025 season, jointly supporting MP Motorsport and driver Richard Verschoor as they raced in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. The strength of that first season was instrumental to Prop.com’s decision to expand its involvement, committing to the primary sponsorship role in 2026 with plans to intensify cooperation further in the future.

“Our partnership with MP has been our first real involvement in motorsport, having already grown our brand presence through other sports such as golf and show jumping. Supporting a Dutch team is obviously close to my heart, but I’m struck by the synergies and similarities between motorsport and our tech-driven real estate investment philosophy. Both rely on precision and attention to detail in approach and decision-making, based on a data-first strategy — for example by leveraging AI and blockchain. The Grand Prix calendar will also allow us to engage with existing and new partners by hosting small events with MP Motorsport, for example at Monaco, the Red Bull Ring, Silverstone and Spa.”

— Robin Ubaghs, Chairman and Co-Founder of Welfare Group and CEO of Prop.com, said:

“I’m extremely pleased to welcome Prop.com as our primary sponsor going into 2026. It was great to see Robin’s enthusiasm grow during the 2025 season as Richard Verschoor challenged for the FIA F2 title. Soon we were ready for the next step, taking our partnership to a higher level that will be to the benefit of both. Robin and I also share a vision of bringing people together, and I’m pleased that Prop.com will take up a prominent role in the partner community that we are building with MP and that continues to grow.”

— Henk de Jong, owner of MP Motorsport, added:

In 2026, Prop.com’s trademark logo will appear on the team’s FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, FIA FREC, Eurocup-3 and Spanish F4 cars, as well as on its trucks, pitwall and teamwear. The partnership extends well beyond visibility and mutual promotion across both partners’ channels: shared activities will include guest visits to race events and the MP Two-Seater Experience, three exclusive events at MP’s Westmaas workshop, and customer relationship events at the karting tracks of Strijen and Genk, all with full hospitality. Prop.com will also be a leading name at MP’s annual partner community event.

The renewal reflects the Welfare Group investment philosophy of building long-term partnerships that combine brand visibility with shared operating values — in this case, the precision, data discipline and partner-community ethos that connect elite motorsport to Prop.com’s technology-led approach to real estate.
